Their next plan is to open a 24-hour freestanding emergency department (FSED) near the town’s main entrance. Its design will be similar to the existing FSED facilities located in Northeast Collier and Bonita Springs.
This emergency center will be equipped to handle serious health conditions like strokes, severe burns, allergic reactions, heart attacks and more, enabling residents to receive timely, high-quality care for emergency situations in Ave Maria itself. The office building will also have space for specialists who will be visiting periodically, helping reduce the need for residents to travel long distances for treatment.
